AWAS and Spring Airlines have today completed lease agreements for three Airbus A320 aircraft. These modern, fuel efficient planes will be delivered in 2018 and are part of a direct order AWAS has with Airbus.
This latest addition to the Spring Airlines A320 family fleet will assist the carrier as it looks to capitalise on China’s increasing domestic and regional demand for leisure and business air travel.
AWAS Chief Executive Officer, David N. Siegel said “We are pleased to place three of our Airbus A320 forward order with this successful Chinese low cost carrier. AWAS has a great, long-term relationship with Spring Airlines and we are excited to play a role in their continued success.”
Mr. Wang Yu, Spring Airlines Chairman, said “This deal helps us develop our 2018 fleet strategy requirements. We look forward to growing the relationship with AWAS, as they have demonstrated over the years an ability to provide flexible solutions for Spring Airlines.”
