Airline using aircraft to expand routes and frequencies with Vanilla Air subsidiary
AWAS and ANA Holdings Inc. have agreed to the lease of five Airbus A320 aircraft in their low cost carrier subsidiary, Vanilla Air. The aircraft will be delivered in 2018 and are part of a direct order AWAS has with Airbus. Vanilla Air currently has 11 A320-200 aircraft in service to destinations across Japan and East Asia.
AWAS CEO, David Siegel: “We are excited to be working, once again with ANA in providing an efficient, turn-key fleet solution to support the continued growth of Vanilla Air. Our current forward order puts us in a great position to provide the additional capacity Vanilla Air requires in 2018.”
